March 2026
At the EGM it was agreed to adjust membership fees to £5 per annum and £5 per meeting
Using a tension swatch, and a calculator, we measured a garment to ascertain the number of stitches and rows to knit to the same size.
Along with working out when to decrease for armholes and either round neck or V neck.
Calculating how many rows between decreases to reach the correct number of stitches at the top of the garment.
Show & Tell:
This month June had been busy making hats and booties for a local premature baby unit.

Di had made and wore her round neck jumper

Chris had knitted a childs intarsia jumper knitted on electronic machine using DesignaKnit

Lidia outlined the different types of sleeve you could use for your garment,
